Will your iPhone 5s or 5C work with 4G in India ?


Airtel has launched 4G in India.  But in the market there only few smartphones or devices support 4G. iPhone is one of the smartphones which support. But do you think your iphone will work with Airtel 4G? iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support 4G. But condition is you must have purchased these iPhone from Apple Store in India. It should not be imported to India.
Yes, you read it right. If you have someone has gifted you iPhone from Outside India, 4G will not work on that iPhone. Reason is 4G is India having different frequency than other countries. Because of frequency mismatch 4G will not work in imported models of iPhone. 
 

If you want to check whether your iPhone is compatible to Indian 4G, then just check the model number of iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c at the back. In case of iPhone 5s, it should be A1530 and in case of iPhone 5c, it should be A1529, only then 4G will work in India in your iPhone. If it is something else, there are chances that Airtel 4G will not work.

In India, Airtel has launched  4G service at 2300 MHz. Very soon, Reliance 4G is going to be launched and everyone is expecting that Reliance 4G will work with all iPhone models no matter from these have been purchased  because Reliance is expected to launch 4G at the frequency of 1800 MHz.

Dynamic DNS providers offer a software client program that automates the discovery and registration of the client system’s public IP addresses. The client program is executed on a computer or device in the private network. It connects to the DDNS provider’s systems with a unique login name; the provider uses the name to link the discovered public IP address of the home network with a hostname in the domain name system. Depending on the provider, the hostname is registered within a domain owned by the provider, or within the customer’s own domain name.
Many home networking modem/routers include client applications in their firmware, compatible with a variety of DDNS providers.
https://freedns.afraid.org/ is one of the best Dynamic DNS Service provider for free. Professional like options are available for power users. I have been using it for a while and find it very useful. 
I have written Dynamic DNS CLient for myself which keep updating the IP Address of My Home Router to Free DNS Website very efficiently. Now I don’t need to update the IP Address of my Router manually. 
Here is the script:

This script runs every 30 minutes. If you want to change the time, just change the value of minutes variable only and save it. For your ready reference, I am attaching the script in ZIP file.
After download, unzip it and edit the file by right click on it. Enter the Direct URL in webpage variable. Save it. And then double click on it. No interface will appear. Just log in to website and check whether your ip address is updated or not under Dynamic DNS Section.

Give your Android Phone more internal Memory Space

If your phone is getting slower or getting hanged or you are getting Low internal Memory while installing the applications on your android phone. It means your phone’s internal memory is getting filled up to full. And this is the time to move apps to SD Card from internal memory.
Most of the Mid-Range Android Phones today are shipping with 4GB internal Memory. And whenever we install Apps on Android 4.0+, applications are by default installed on Phone Memory and later on, it has to be shifted to SD Card. But still few application refused to move to SD Card. In such scenario, it is advised to ROOT the phone and then you will be able to move the Apps to SD Card. Rooting of Android can end the Warranty of your phone. But before this, you can try the following solution which can enable your phone to move Apps to SD Card: –

  1. Download the USB DRIVER and ADB Tool from this link.
  2. Extract and copy the folder to your desktop
  3. Make sure you have installed the USB Drivers for Android Phone.
  4. Connect your phone using USB Cable to PC
  5. Open the Extracted Folder on Your Desktop
  6. Now firstly Double Click STEP-1.BAT file. It should show you 0[auto] as result in CMD window. Press any key to close CMD.
  7. Now Double Click STEP-2.BAT file. Press any key to close CMD. That’s it. Now SD Card is set as Default installation location.
  8. To verify, double click on STEP-1.BAT file. It should show you 2[external].
Now on your phone, move to Settings – > Apps. It will list all the applications which are installed on your phone. Now tap on the application you want to move to SD Card. Here you can see now MOVE button which was previously disabled.
Still in few cases, some applications can still refuse to move to SD Card. In that case, ROOTING is the last resort. Generally Google Apps, Facebook will refuse to move.
While moving apps, keep in notice that don’t move those applications of which you are using WIDGETS or those are system based applications. If you move apps to SD Card, that application will not auto-start and can not have Widgets.

Download Android Apps from Google Play Store to PC directly

A small Java based utility is created, which allows you to download Android Apps from Play Store directly to your PC. There is no need to connect your Android Phone to PC.
